This logo was created by Christopher Medina. The logo was commissioned by Spanglish Threads and will be the face of the business. The clothing line was created as a way to help less fortunate children in Mexico. The logo will be featured on t-shirts and hats, as well, as the company's website.
Art Institute

This logo was a personal project created by Christopher Medina. The idea was to re-vamp an existing logo design. This logo was created with designers in mind. I wanted something that is simple and recognizable. Simple to the point that the logo is made up of three basic shapes: a perfect triangle, circle and rectangle. Combined, the shapes create the letter “A” and lowercase “i”, symbolizing the “Art Institute.” I believe the simplicity of the design makes it more impactful once you make the connection “Ai”.
I also wanted to use the lowercase “i” to symbolize the individual, or student. Individuality is a trademark of the Art Institute, so naturally the person shaped letter “i” is depicted taking shelter under structural guidance of the Art Institute.

Baltimore Claws

This logo was created by Christopher Medina. The idea here was to recreate an outdated logo. The Baltimore Claws were an American Basketball team which was supposed to appear in the 1975-76 season in the American Basketball Association. The team collapsed before the start of the season, playing only three games, from what I assume was a weak logo and brand marketing.

This logo was conceptualized and created by Christopher Medina. The concept was to create a vector logo for an indoor dog park. Process research was done by visiting dog parks around the Tampa Bay area, as well as, interviews of users of existing dog parks and potential park locations (local malls). The logo has several variations.
Five Guys
![Picture](/uploads/1/2/7/2/12725589/1361215931.jpg)
This logo was a redesign of the existing logo for Five Guys Burger & Fries. The purpose of this identity redesign was to enhance the overall customer experience through bold restaurant designs and more engaging advertisement. While Five Guy’s current attributes are Clean, Simple and Friendly, my focus was to create a more engaging identity to compete in today’s fast food market, while keeping true to their current attributes of a more classic and quality burger brand identity. Most of Five Guy’s competition have bold, innovative, and contemporary designs. The purpose of this design audit was to explore the competition’s designs, learn what works and what doesn’t, compare their strategies to Five Guy’s, and to introduce a new design consistent with the current positioning.
Julien K

These logo variations were created as a brand redesign for a band called "Julien K", an electronic music group based in Long Beach, California. The existing logo is outdated and the band is currently looking to be rebranded. The logo was unofficially commissioned by a friend of the band, but yet to be used. The existing logo can be found at Julien-K.com.
